The Haitian-Americans United, Inc. (HAU) is a
non-profit organization founded in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
to improve the quality of life for Haitians / Haitian-Americans in
Massachusetts and Haiti through education, social-economic
empowerment and cultural development. |

LambiFund
| Projects Since its
inception in 1993, the Lambi Fund has supported over 80 projects
throughout Haiti's nine departments. Most of these have become
self-sustaining community efforts within the first 18 months of
operation. We are currently supporting 29 projects in Haiti, in
different stages of development, under four program areas:
(1) Agricultural Infrastructure and
Reforestation; (2) Agricultural Products; (3) Community and Women's
Initiatives; and (4) Organizational Development Training. |

Mission Statement: ORE is working to
improve environmental, agricultural and economic conditions in
rural Haiti. Our development projects involve high revenue
tree crops, improved seeds, cash crops and marketing programs.
Working directly with farmers, we are able to provide
practical solutions to deforestation and subsistence farming.
We offer commercial quality plant materials and the technical
assistance needed for successful production and marketing |
